Travis Vance joined Richardson Plowden in 2007 as an associate in the Columbia office. He focuses his practice in construction law.

Mr. Vance earned his bachelor’s of arts degree from Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., where he majored in American Studies, graduating cum laude. He earned his juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in May 2007. While at the University of South Carolina, Mr. Vance was a Carolina Legal Scholar, a Student Bar Association peer mentor, and a member of the Dean’s List.

Mr. Vance is a volunteer arbitrator in the Lexington County, South Carolina Juvenile Arbitration Program. He hears cases of first-time non-violent juvenile offenders as an alternative to a judge-presided courtroom.

Mr. Vance is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Richland County Bar Association.
